Symmetry

Symmetry is key for both optimal (pain-free) function and aesthetic (the way you look).

It is important to include both bilateral and unilateral exercises in your training to ensure a balanced physique in strength, size, and tone. It is also recommended to perform additional exercises to counter muscle imbalances that occur over time due to your lifestyle. For example, our programs include more exercises with hip extension to help balance out tight hip flexors. This occurs from spending a lot of time in a seated (hip flexed) position. We also program in shoulder external rotation exercises and pulling exercises for the back to help counteract forward rotating shoulders and rounded upper back from poor posture.
